II'm currently developing a new body of work titled Echo into the Darkness.

This new collection comprises of ten large-scale artworks exploring the emotional journey of a woman faced with the profound effects of the perimenopause, her struggle on both mind and body, her relashionship with herself as she confronts her inner demons.

Through each piece I aim to examine the shifting physical sensations, emotional uncertainy, fatique, and change in identity that accompany this often misunderstood invisible challenge that so many woman face through their lives.

The work seeks to make visible the experiences that are so frequently kept private, transforming, powerful and shared.

Each piece contributes to an unfolding narrative, exploring themes of psychological and physiological resilience. The tension between exhaustion, control and change, strength and fragility.  Together, they offer an honest and intimate portrait of womanhood in transition, while creating space for recogntion, conversation, and greater understanding. Through this series, I hope to capture the raw complexity of the human experience and invite the viewer to reflect on their own journey through darkness & light.

I will be incorporating into each piece of work  ash, chalk, charcoal and natural pigments, working on deep textures, layering and contrasting mediums. TBC
