WILD & FERAL ART COURSES
Welcome to my art courses based in the beautiful village of Cranborne (Dorset)
Why wild & feral?
I designed this course to support a reconnection with nature; engaging with the wildness of the natural world to inspire the start of each creative process.
Our feral characteristics are raw, instinctive and uninhibited. Returning to these roots, our creative energy can flow more freely.
Wild & Feral art courses take you on a journey of discovery; whether you are a complete beginner wanting to discover your creativity for the first time, or a professional artist looking for inspiration to free up your feral side.
You will be guided by Miranda who has over 25 years of experience as an abstract artist, and is passionate about helping others to find new and natural ways of expression.
Full day course 10-4.30 (Incl. Lunch & Refreshments)
Weekly workshops 10-1 per session (Refreshments incl. Sessions run over 4 week blocks)
WHAT TO EXPECT
Full Day Course

This will be a chance to gather inspiration from your natural surroundings, discuss intentions for the day and let the woodland start you on your creative process.
A break for refreshments back at the studio where Miranda will introduce the different elements of the course. The materials, mediums, tools and techniques.
Exploration into creating textures, using different mediums with natural pigments. Making basic enviromentally friendly tools for creating your artwork.
A Delicious lunch (Any dietry requirements will happily be catered for, this will be arranged in advance).
Afternoon of putting paint to canvas. Each canvas is approx 60 x 60 cm deep edged and ready to hang. Its time to unleash that feral creativity!
Refreshments will be avaliable through out the day.
There is no time pressure for your creative process. Creativity can take time to manifest.
You will find your own rhythm and let your own inspiration guide you through your personal journey. Miranda will be on hand at all times to advise and gently guide when needed.
